I write fantasy novels set in secondary worlds, generally featuring queer characters. I adore all aspects of worldbuilding and am totally one of those people who has to stop themselves from developing a language for every culture they write about. I’ve also been to a lot of places for geologic work, from Antarctica to Greenland, and those landscapes often worm their way into my writing.

Project Salt Woven is an adult, second-world fantasy featuring a reimagining of selkie folklore. I began writing Salt Woven in late September 2024, and am currently querying it.
My writing group—Autumn, Dilara, and Kara—has been invaluable in revisions!

Project Strands is another adult, second-world fantasy … also with a mainly marine setting. What can I say, I miss water out here in Arizona.
I began outlining Project Strands in August 2025 and am still in the very early stages of writing.

In Project Earthquakes, a woman with chronic fatigue must prevent the dead from causing earthquakes. There are shiny rocks, there are unshiny rocks, and there are earthquakes! It’s set in an Arizona-like land. Yes, there are many indulgent aspects to this one. I’m currently drafting as quickly as I can (which is not very quickly).
